Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care RIPC MG – Rhode Island
RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing, clinician‑led medical group delivering high‑quality, value‑based care in a fully outpatient setting.
The OpportunityThis role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong clinical and operational support, allowing you to focus on patient care while leveraging modern care models and technology.
What You’ll Do- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
- See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
- Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care aligned with value‑based care principles
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Practice in collaboration with physicians in accordance with Rhode Island regulations, including consultation and referral as appropriate
- Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
- Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
- Perform in‑office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)
- Provide after‑hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)
- Engage in team‑based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)
- Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care specialty) (required)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Rhode Island
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required)
- Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required)
- Commitment to delivering patient‑centered, value‑based primary care (required)
- Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a team‑based, technology‑enabled care environment
- Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)
$120,000 - $130,000 USD
