The Cardiovascular Institute of New England (CINE) is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient cardiology team in Rhode Island. This is a Monday–Friday, clinic-based role with no weekend or call responsibilities. CINE has been Rhode Island's leading independent cardiovascular practice for over 25 years, with locations across the state including Cranston, Johnston, Lincoln, North Providence, Pawtucket, Warwick, Warren, and Westerly.
New NP and PA graduates with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine are encouraged to apply. CINE is a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).
Monday–Friday only
· No weekends
· No call — rare in outpatient cardiology
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Rhode Island license or ability to obtain — compact license may apply
- Cardiology experience preferred — not required
- New NP and PA graduates with genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine welcome
- Strong communicator with a patient-centered, team-oriented approach
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient clinic setting
- Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and ongoing disease management
- Order and interpret EKGs, cardiac monitoring, imaging, stress testing, and lab results
- Develop individualized care plans collaboratively with supervising cardiologists
- Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle modifications, and risk reduction
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
- Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
