Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Call) – Westerly Hospital
Location: Westerly, RI
Schedule: Day / Evening (30 hours, 0.75 full time)
EMR System: EPIC
Sign‑on Bonus: $60,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000

- Implement safe, patient-centered anesthetic care for medical and surgical procedures.
- Understand physiological implications and anesthetic considerations of procedures; continuously monitor vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry per ASA guidelines.
- Ensure accurate documentation and protect patient information in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate professional behavior, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
- Engage in continuing professional development and quality improvement projects.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- State of Connecticut nursing license, APRN licensure in Connecticut.
- Valid AANA Certification, State of CT RN and APRN license, ACLS, DEA registration, and controlled substance registration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
- Ability to work flexible, non‑traditional schedule, including off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Sharp concentration, calm under stress, clear communication with patients and staff.
- Ability to provide immediate and responsive anesthetic patient management.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing clinical environments.
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Wear lead protection during fluoroscopy or X‑ray cases.
- Detect changes in monitoring alarms and equipment, communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing.
- Maintain necessary fine and gross motor skills for patient care.
