We are a modern facility providing our clients and patients with exceptional veterinary care. Washington County Veterinary Hospital is located in Wakefield, Rhode Island and surrounding inlets to the ocean.

Full‑time veterinary technician needed to handle and restrain animals, room patients, assist in surgery and recovery, place IV catheters, draw and run bloodwork, position animals for x‑ray, operate laboratory equipment, and support the team.

• 2+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Knowledge of animal behavior and healthcare
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Understand the importance of client education
• Team Player willing to continue to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary: Up to $30.00 hourly based upon experience.

Sign‑on Bonus
:
Eligibility for a sign‑on bonus up to $3,500.00 based on experience and surgical/anesthesia experience.
