Veterinary Technician at VCA Beech Road Animal Hospital in Redford, MI

Full-time opportunity, 4 x10 hour shifts. VCA Beech Road Animal Hospital is a four-doctor animal hospital offering preventative and routine care, surgery, and dental procedures. As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting patient care and client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys patient care and wants to grow within a supportive team.
What You’ll Do- Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
- Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
- Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
