What you will do

The District Sales Manager will promote the sale of Food and Beverage equipment within assigned territory, support refrigeration contractors by providing technical and commercial information, apply Frick equipment to customers’ needs, create demand for Frick equipment with end users and engineers via refrigeration contractors, and provide feedback to the factory on commercial and technical issues.

How you will do it
  • Provide technical and commercial information to customers to promote the sale of refrigeration equipment (mainly contractors).
  • Provide sales feedback to regional management and factory personnel on activities in the field, including customer perception of Frick products, competitive moves, industry trends, and lost and secured job information.
  • Create a demand for Frick equipment for purchase through refrigeration contractors.
  • Gather information on project bidding to enable Frick to maximize profits on each project.
  • Become involved in related industry associations to promote the sale of Frick equipment (RETA, IARW, PIA, ASHRAE, etc.).
  • This position requires extensive travel for face‑to‑face contact with customers. Thirty to fifty percent of working day is required with customers outside the office. Travel is often required outside normal working hours.
What we look for
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration components and equipment.
  • Background in industrial refrigeration sales/engineering, refrigeration contracting, or food freezing.
  • Six or more years of experience and demonstrated ability in a refrigeration technical school or similar.
Salary Range

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000 – 117,000. Salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data. This role also offers a competitive sales incentive plan based on volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annually. Exceptional candidates may be offered compensation beyond the stated range.
