scaling global biopharma partnerships that directly influence drug discovery, translational research, clinical development, and data-driven oncology

This is a senior, enterprise-level individual contributor role
, not a transactional sales position.
The Senior Director, Global Bio Pharma Business Development will own and execute strategic biopharma partnerships globally, operating as a senior external representative to pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.
Key elements include:
- Ownership of global biopharma partnerships from origination through execution and expansion
- Senior engagement with Director-, VP-, and SVP-level stakeholders across pharma and biotech
- Structuring and closing complex strategic agreements spanning molecular diagnostics, clinico-genomic data, real-world evidence, and clinical trial enablement
- Acting as a trusted internal voice of the biopharma customer
, informing commercial strategy and partnership design - Close collaboration with molecular science, laboratory operations, bioinformatics, pathology, legal, and medical affairs teams
We are looking for a credible, senior biopharma business development professional who brings:
- 10–15+ years of experience across biopharma BD and strategic partnerships
- A demonstrable track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships
- Strong understanding of the oncology drug development lifecycle and the role of precision diagnostics and clinico-genomic data
- Experience operating at a global level
, beyond purely regional or product-led sales - Commercial maturity, executive presence, and the ability to represent a scientifically rigorous organisation externally
Experience in precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, genomics, or data-driven healthcare is strongly preferred.
