Eagle Cornice, a Tecta America Co., founded in 1901, is a leading roofing contractor in Rhode Island. We value respect, appreciation, and a culture of excellence. We are looking to add a Production Field Superintendent to our growing Cranston, RI team.
Position OverviewReporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Field Superintendent schedules and supervises commercial production roofing crews on multiple job sites. The role manages projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship, quality, and production.
Position Responsibilities- Schedule and supervise roofing field operations with daily worksite visits to ensure project specifications are met.
- Regularly inspect work progress, equipment and job sites to ensure all work order details and safety protocols are followed.
- Work closely with Production foremen to train roofing field staff with an emphasis on safety and employee development.
- Maintain documentation of projects, identify variances, monitor expenditures, and implement corrective action when necessary.
- Coordinate inspections from manufacturers and governing authorities, as needed.
- Communicate with the Operations team regularly on work progress.
- Conduct materials inventory as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Commercial roofing experience, 5+ years, required.
- Supervisory experience, 2+ years, required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English), highly desirable.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, job specifications, technical procedures, and/or government regulations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Physical surroundings:
Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and varying temperatures. General office environment with typical office machines. - Physical effort:
Extensive sitting, standing, bending, walking, kneeling. Ability to climb ladders and lift more than 25 lbs. regularly, 50 lbs. occasionally. - Travel:
Mostly local; within 1 hour.

$70,000 to $80,000; BOE. This estimate may vary based on knowledge, skills, training, and experience. The position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits, and other forms of compensation.
