• Starting salary of $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience

• Monday – Friday every week, no weekends
• Second Shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
• Repair/maintenance shop at the Cranston, RI hauling site

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles, prioritizing employee and community safety
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times
• Assist senior mechanics in project work and review/complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and established safety procedures

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Physical ability to perform job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and physical
• Team player, capable of working independently and with others
• Enjoys variety and is a determined problem solver

Exert physical effort including frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing. Exposed to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes. Work occurs both inside the garage/shop and outdoors under inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
