Position Summary
Location:
Woonsocket, RI. This full‑time, on‑site role is a Sr. Manager, Digital Product position at CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company. The role focuses on designing and developing digital software applications and platforms to support pharmacy, prescription, claims, and related health care activities.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Determine feasibility of solution designs and prepare technical design documentation.
- Upgrade existing software applications or systems to improve functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Write and review high‑quality code and perform unit and automation testing.
- Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- At least three years of experience in each of the following areas:
- XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or Java Script
- Agile methodologies or SAFe software development principles
- Frameworks:
Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone - Typescript or object‑oriented Java Script
- JIRA, Rally, or Confluence
- Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices
- Large‑scale application development, data science, or data analytics projects
- End‑to‑end data science lifecycle/workflow
- Agile productivity tools and incremental software releases
- Developing data and analytics‑based platform capabilities, services, or products
- Working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end‑user feedback and human‑centered design
Pay Range: $/year to $/year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The position is also eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive, and equity award programs.
