Salary: Top 50% average $101,176 per year.
CPM: Starting pay $0.64 to $0.67 cpm.

At Crete Carrier and Shaffer Trucking, our miles are up significantly. We need more safe, experienced drivers to meet the needs of our customers. Crete, Shaffer, and Hunt drivers are paid based on practical miles. This means drivers are paid for 3-5 percent more total miles per year than companies that pay based on short route miles.

A recent increase in governed truck speed to 68 MPH on cruise and 65 MPH on pedal allows practical miles to roll in faster.

The most productive 50 percent of our Crete Carrier and Shaffer Trucking OTR drivers average more than $101,176 annually, equaling over $1,945 weekly ($0.64 to $0.67 CPM). The top 50 percent of our Hunt Transportation drivers average $93,347 annually ($1,795 per week), with starting pay ranging from $0.65 to $0.68 per mile.
