Description
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate's responsibilities include picking, packing, scanning, and storing goods. They also maintain organization in the warehouse.
Essential Functions- Picking out and/or scanning ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
- Securely packing items in boxes or envelopes.
- Collecting order notes to fulfill deliveries.
- Securely shrink-wrapping items before placing them in envelopes or boxes.
- Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations.
- Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved.
- Tagging and labeling merchandise.
- Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be reliable, punctual and present each workday M-F, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
- Ability to use a radio frequency or barcode scanner.
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long hours.
- Ability to follow direction from supervisors and work directly with other team members to accomplish daily goals.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Great team spirit.
- Experience in order picking, Carousel/Pick to Light system a plus.
- 2 years of warehouse experience.
- High Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times, at times from overhead locations.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
