** Pay Range: $62,
**** What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
*** Application of analytical tools to drive improvement in foam quality and continually achieve variation reduction.
* Perform internal scrap cost analysis and drive scrap cost reduction projects.
* Support Quality Technicians with addressing production issues and improvement opportunities via problem solving techniques.
* Participate in New product/process development, qualification, and establishment of “Safe Launch” Plans.
* Track, Report, and drive improvement in direct material suppliers to improve incoming quality performance.
* Performs product inspection and audits products and/or systems for conformance to standard.
* Performs weekly CTQ audit and reporting to drive continual improvement.
* Facilitate best practices benchmarking between TPVA, TPNM, TPIN and other facilities.
* Assists in problem investigation and resolution.
* Periodically support the laboratory including, performing laboratory tests, and/or experiments following established procedures or protocols while operating requisite laboratory equipment and instruments; records data; maintains and makes minor adjustments to equipment.
** What You’ll Need (Qualifications):
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 1-2 years directly related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
* Business acumen, will act as business partner to Operations
* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
* Advanced knowledge of PC usage required to include using the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Demonstrated experience in 5S, Lean and Six Sigma principles. Green Belt preferred, or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
* Minitab or JMP experience preferred.
