Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Speech Language Pathology experience; new graduates welcome
- Other certifications or licenses may be required
The Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. They develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and enhance overall quality of life.
Essential Work Functions- Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observation to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and evidence‑based practices.
- Continuously assess patient progress, adjust plans, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and PC skills.
- Physical Abilities – remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, bend.
- Interpersonal Skills – work effectively with various personnel, positive attitude.
- Technical/Motor Skills – fine manipulation, push/pull, assistance with procedures.
- Mental Requirements – cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, work under supervision when needed.
- Sensory – visual acuity and effective communication.
