Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)- Perform duties necessary to prepare, confirm counts to production ticket, stretch wrap, balance pallet loads, etc. expedite and dispatch transfers and shipments.
- Successfully complete the OSHA approved PIT training and operate all PIT equipment safely.
- Perform material handling fork truck duties as assigned.
- Accurately maintain complex records of transactions.
- Responsible for 5s in all work areas.
- High School/GED
- High School Diploma Equivalency/ GED
- Being able to successfully train and learn how to drive PIT equipment (lift trucks).
- Review Production items for Shipment Quality, and prepare/load material on trucks for shipment.
- Be able to complete/execute the necessary document requirements for shipping, including system transactions.
- Load material correctly on outgoing semi trailers.
- Maintain 5S requirements for area cleanliness.
- Be able to work individually and within a Team environment on activities.
