Job SummaryWe are seeking a well-rounded Senior Manager Focus Factory (Production Manager) with strong manufacturing leadership experience and the ability to take full ownership of a Focus Factory operation. This role is responsible for coordinating all functions of the Focus Factory, including New Product Introduction, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Performance, and Supply Chain Performance. The position will partner with the Value Stream Leader to drive profitable growth and continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate all operational functions within the Focus Factory.
- Drive Safety and Environmental performance and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Own Quality performance across incoming supplier quality, internal manufacturing processes, and finished product/customer quality.
- Drive delivery performance toward 95% or greater target compliance while reducing customer lead times.
- Lead continuous cost improvement and reduction initiatives across the value stream.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities using tools such as Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, SMED, TPM, and Kaizen.
- Identify and implement innovative ways to improve manufacturing processes and operational performance.
- Lead and support New Product Introduction activities.
- Partner with the Value Stream Leader and cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth.
- Lead, develop, and manage salaried professionals and hourly manufacturing employees.
- 6–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high-volume manufacturing.
- Previous supervisory or management experience leading salaried professionals and hourly production employees.
- Proven leadership experience developing and managing diverse teams.
- Strong people management, project management, problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience managing manufacturing performance related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory.
- P&L experience preferred.
- Experience supporting or leading New Product Introductions preferred.
- Ability to analyze operational data and effectively present results.
- High level of comfort using computers and manufacturing-related systems.
- High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- 1–20% travel.
