Emergency Room RN

The ER RN is responsible for providing high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires a skilled nurse adept in managing critical situations and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and health management.

• Hold a valid CA State RN license with Nursys verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of ER nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NSTEMI, and NCC certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Be willing to work night shifts (3×12 hours) including every other weekend.
• Comply with travel and local credentialing requirements.
