Shift Details:
- Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm
- Orientation: 2 weeks
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews.
- Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and monitor medications as clinically appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide psychotherapy or other appropriate psychiatric interventions.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow applicable clinical, safety, ethical, and facility requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Psychiatrist
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
