Certified 4th & 5th Grade Special Education Teacher

Clarifis Staffing Solutions is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Special Education Teacher to support 4th and 5th grade students during the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and committed to helping every learner achieve success.

You will partner with general education staff, families, and support teams to develop and implement effective instructional strategies that meet each student's unique needs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
• Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Requirements:

• Previous school-based experience is preferred.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) Endorsement required.
• A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is required, while a master's degree is preferred.
