Oasis Therapy Services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one rehabilitation services across both assisted living facilities in Crest Hill and Joliet, Illinois.
Available Employment Options- Part-Time
EMR: Net Health
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Follow individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and independence.
- Monitor residents' progress and report updates or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
- Complete accurate Net Health documentation and collaborate with the care team.
- Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between both facilities.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Geriatric, assisted living, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
- One-on-one treatments with no group or concurrent therapy.
