Position Purpose

The General Laborer performs essential labor and support tasks throughout the production plant to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain reliable physical attendance.
  • Follow standard manufacturing processes and instructions.
  • Assist in pizza production on the manufacturing floor.
  • Work on production lines, including casing, repackaging, and rework tasks.
  • Comply with all Safety, GMP, Quality, and Plant Policies.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Feed pans and trays to production lines at required speed.
  • Apply shipping labels at the established production rate.
  • Prepare and maintain materials and equipment before, during, and after production.
  • Ensure codes and labels meet product specifications.
  • Verify packaging and materials per SKU requirements.
  • Work in cold temperatures and hot temperatures.
  • Read codes and operate coder machines as needed.
  • Reseal and return unused materials at shift end and clean equipment for next shift.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate clearly with coworkers.
  • Problem-solving ability within standard production parameters.
