Machine Operator – Late 2nd Shift - Crest Hill

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 03:00 AM Pay Rate: $19.01 per hour Shift: Late 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our overnight production team. This role is responsible for safely operating machinery, maintaining product quality, and supporting continuous production in a manufacturing environment. Previous machine operating experience is required.

• Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Comply with OSHA and facility safety standards at all times.
• Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Set up, change over, adjust, repair, and operate machinery and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is in proper operating condition and ready for on-time startup.
• Make necessary adjustments to keep production flowing consistently.
• Perform process control checks and quality checks throughout the shift.
• Operate date coders and verify accurate code dates on cases and products.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment according to GMP and safety guidelines.
• Clean all equipment using approved sanitation practices.
• Assist Quality Assurance with obtaining product samples and other related tasks.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Previous machine operator experience required.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments with temperatures ranging from –30°F to 176°F, as applicable.
• Able to stand and remain physically active for up to 10–13 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including continuous standing and frequent movement.
