• Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on floral arrangements, plants, and gardening supplies
• Take and process online orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection, delivery details, and special instructions
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally; guide customers through options and place orders on their behalf
• Support florists with basic prep work such as trimming stems, watering plants, and organizing supplies
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up attractive displays that highlight seasonal trends and promotions
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Help maintain the flower shop website, and social media
• Support store cleanliness and organization through stocking supplies, pruning plants, and maintaining the floral department’s appearance
• Complete floral deliveries, including organizing delivery schedules, packing arrangements securely, and delivering orders to customers when needed

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers in multiple languages if applicable
• Experience with retail sales processes including POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and merchandising strategies
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service
• Organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently and keep displays appealing
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms to assist customers with online orders or store pickup options
