This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.
What You Will DoThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated level III imaging cardiologist to join an established, but growing regional practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join a team of 10 physicians and 14 APPs
- Practice setting: mix of outpatient clinic, imaging/reading time and inpatient rounding
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Champion the cardiac imaging program for the region (Level 3 CT, MRI)
- Facilitate practice growth and quality care
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a highly efficient practice model

- Sacred Heart Hospital was founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1915. Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
