Description:

You will be an Aircraft Mechanic II for our Special Operations Forces Global Logistic Support Services (SOF GLSS) team, based in Crestview, FL. Our team is responsible for modifying military aircraft and ground vehicles to meet the evolving operational needs of the SOF community. What You Will Be Doing
-The applicant must have the experience and ability to perform the following:
Read/comprehend complex Mechanical drawings, troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with company drawings, procedures and specifications.

-The Aircraft Mechanic III will work closely with Team Leads to ensure aircraft is delivered on time and within budget. This position is in Crestview, FL. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Employee must have a knowledge base and experience in general aviation maintenance practices. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must have an interim secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen
Desired

Skills:

Heavy modification, integration, or repair sheet metal experience on aircraft.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to maintain respirator fitness qualification.
Ability to perform confined space entry.

Experience with C-130 aircraft.
Active Secret Clearance.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
