You will be an Aircraft Mechanic I for our Special Operations Forces Global Logistic Support Services (SOF GLSS) team, based in Crestview, FL. Our team is responsible for modifying military aircraft and ground vehicles to meet the evolving operational needs of the SOF community.

• Sheet metal experience performing aircraft modifications or demonstrated aptitude.
• Strong aptitude to read and interpret complex aircraft mechanical drawings – Blueprints, TCTO’s, Supplemental Work Instructions, Service Bulletins, Installation Drawings, ETC.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic devices (laptop, tablet, etc.) for data management, work authorization, and interpretation of instructions.

This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. • Minimum of two (2) years of sheet metal experience performing aircraft modifications or demonstrated aptitude.
• Strong aptitude to read and interpret complex aircraft mechanical drawings – Blueprints, TCTO’s, Supplemental Work Instructions, Service Bulletins, Installation Drawings, ETC.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic devices (laptop, tablet, etc.) for data management, work authorization, and interpretation of instructions.
• Heavy modification, integration, or repair sheet metal experience on aircraft.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to maintain respirator fitness qualification.
• Ability to perform confined space entry.
• Experience with C‑130 aircraft.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Minimum Education:
