Manufacturing Engineer

Brief Description

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, processing, machining, and material handling using Epicor ERP. Designs sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Crestview Aerospace is a manufacturing organization working closely with large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and several others to deliver complex design-to-build and build-to print assemblies. Crestview Aerospace provides these assemblies in support of in-service platforms, such as: H-47, V-22, F-35, F-15, F-16, F-18, KC-135, E-2, and weapon systems such as Harpoon and SLAM-ER.

Crestview Aerospace is comprised of two (2) manufacturing sites, with operations in St. Louis, Missouri and Crestview, FL, and employs approximately 300 professionals.
