Relationship Banker – Team Lead is responsible for meeting with customers and prospects to determine their financial needs, and meeting those needs by proactively offering appropriate products, services, and guidance to achieve financial goals. The role includes coaching a team of bankers and overseeing branch activities in the Branch Manager’s absence. It is suited for candidates with retail or sales experience seeking growth, development, and upward mobility.

Primary Responsibilities- Partners with the Branch Manager to guide and direct all branch activities
- Achieves branch targets by identifying customer needs and guiding Regions’ solutions
- Conducts outbound calls to expand existing relationships and acquire new ones
- Partners with branch leadership on new business development and fosters financial wellness in local communities
- Coaches junior bankers to strengthen product knowledge and identify customer needs
- Educates customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services, including all loan and deposit types
- Educates customers on digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM) to simplify banking
- Ensures a consistent optimal customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions as needed
- Oversees branch operations and compliance tasks, ensuring awareness of procedural changes
- Resolves escalated issues, including scheduling, coaching associates, or input on hiring decisions in the Branch Manager’s absence
- Refers customers to internal experts when additional goals are identified
- Follows bank processes and procedures and adheres to laws and regulations, contributing to sound banking practices and risk management
This position requires tracking time for hours over 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. It is incentive eligible and requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED; two years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience; ability to work Saturdays; ability to handle cash; strong communication skills; computer literacy; ability to walk/stand for extended periods; ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

The target information below reflects the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range where the position is located and the level of the position.
Job Range Target: Minimum: $47,400.67 USD;
Median: $58,786.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: Eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
