Multi Office Medical Clinic is currently seeking an experienced MVA/Worker Compensation Specialist.

The MVA/Worker Compensation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing motor vehicle accident (MVA) and workers’ compensation (WC) patient accounts within a fast-paced medical office environment. This position serves as a liaison between patients, providers, attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and insurance adjusters to ensure timely processing of referrals, scheduling of appointments, and accurate handling of claims and payments. The specialist maintains detailed documentation, supports billing and collections processes, and assists with communication and coordination related to MVA and WC cases.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, professionalism, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receives and processes all incoming motor vehicle accident and worker's compensation referrals and scheduled new patient appointments.
  • Works directly with attorneys, paralegals, case managers and adjusters.
  • Sets up depositions, conference calls, and narratives between providers and attorneys.
  • Posts MVA and WC payments that come via mail and sends secondary claims as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of multi-line phone systems, computers and fax/copy machines.
  • 1-2 years MVA/Liability billing experience in a medical practice or office environment.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Ability and motivation to work independently.
  • Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Use of postage meters, fax portals, printers and scanners.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
