As a Medical Records Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of patient medical records within our correctional healthcare facility.

• Organize and maintain medical records in compliance with state laws and regulations
• Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date
• Process requests for medical records in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to retrieve and update patient information
• Protect the security and confidentiality of patient information at all times
• Assist with audits and quality assurance processes related to medical records
• Provide administrative support to the healthcare team as needed

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
