Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a travel contract in Crestview, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR circulator experience and robotics experience.

Job Details

• Operating Room (OR) department in a hospital setting,

• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM,

• On-call responsibilities are required,

• Works alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross),

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR circulator experience required,

• Robotics experience required,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• Valid driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ensuring surgical supply readiness, managing case timeliness, communicating with patient families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care,

• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in perioperative patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards,

• All certifications must remain valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment,

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position,

• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
