Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract in Crestview, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR circulator experience and robotics proficiency.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting,

• Role functions as OR Circulator, working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members,

• Robotic surgical cases are part of the caseload,

• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM,

• On-call responsibilities are required,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand; pending licenses are not accepted,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross); no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date,

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR Circulator experience required,

• Robotic surgery experience required,

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• Candidates must not have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years,

• A valid driver's license is required for consideration,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ensuring supply readiness, case timeliness, family communication, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care,

• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in perioperative patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies,

• RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
