Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract in Crestview, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR circulator experience and robotics experience.

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting in Crestview, FL,

• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM,

• On-call responsibilities are required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross),

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR circulator experience required,

• Robotics experience required,

• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date,

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• Valid driver's license required,

• US Social Security Number required,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ensuring surgical supply readiness, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with patient families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care,

• Works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members,

• Practice guided by State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies and procedures,

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
