Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract in Crestview, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR experience, robotics experience, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting,

• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM,

• On-call responsibilities required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or valid Compact RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR Circulator experience required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross),

• Robotics experience required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• Valid driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ensuring supply readiness, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with patient families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting surgeons during cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care,

• Works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members,

• Applies critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in perioperative patient care, in accordance with AORN standards and State Nurse Practice Act,

• All certifications must remain active through at least 30 days beyond the contract start date,

• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
