Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job Requirements:
  • Active Florida Nurse Practitioner License (unencumbered).
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Strong clinical background in Infectious disease.
  • Geriatric or adult medicine experience preferred, with a focus on skilled nursing, long‑term care, hospice, palliative care, or similar settings.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with elderly and chronically ill patients and their families.
  • Ability to meet a minimum of 12 patient visits per day, with bonuses for surpassing this target.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Health Plan benefit structures is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and evaluate changes in patient conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
  • Develop patient care policies and facilitate referrals to specialists.
  • Coordinate advanced care planning and discharge visits.
  • Ensure timely communication and documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow‑ups.
  • Support the physician‑patient relationship and address gaps in care.
