RN Nurse, Travel Nurse
Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Stroke Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical 2S Stroke Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stroke care and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans within the Medical Surgical unit, with a focus on stroke patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate nursing care to stroke and medical-surgical patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
- Monitor patient condition and vital signs, and report any changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans.
- Educate patients and families on stroke recovery and prevention strategies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active Florida state or multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med-Surg RN experience.
- Experience in stroke care is essential.
