Travel RN – Operating Room Circulator

Crestview, FL | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days – Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) with on-call requirements; rotating weekends. On-call: 6–8 shifts per month (1–2 per week). Weeknight call runs 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM the following morning. Weekend call is a 24-hour shift (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM).

• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality surgical patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies
• Ensure proper supplies are available and cases proceed in a timely manner
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
• Scrub in and assist physicians during surgical cases as required
• Supervise personnel involved in the delivery of patient care within the surgical department

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida
• Minimum 2 years of OR Circulator experience
• ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• PALS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Robotics experience required

• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties and high-volume OR environments
• Familiarity with AORN standards and best practices in perioperative nursing
• Comfort with on-call scheduling and rotating weekend assignments
