Responsibilities Recruiting and Team Development
  • Recruit, train, and develop your team on brand, product, and service.
  • Build development plans, coach staff, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through training and initiatives.
  • Manage staff scheduling and hiring processes with transparency and equity.
Sales & Customer Experience
  • Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals while providing a unique and inclusive customer experience.
  • Educate customers and staff on our brand values, anti‑animal testing stance, ethical buying, 100 % vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging commitments.
  • Continuously deepen product knowledge and make informed product recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by developing and executing business plans that align with company strategy and improve KPIs.
Team Leadership
  • Coach and develop staff using the Leadership Practices framework, coaching behaviors, and encouraging learning.
  • Promote DEIB by maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment and collaborating on equitable solutions.
  • Balance performance concerns with empathy, creating action plans to improve staff engagement.
  • Support fair hiring practices and explain equity in the interview and promotion process.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure shop compliance: training, standards for time and attendance, product integrity, respectful workplace, anti‑harassment and anti‑discrimination guidelines, health and safety, and daily communication.
  • Manage inventory and orders using reporting tools, executing action plans to control stock and reduce waste.
  • Implement merchandising plans, maintain visual standards, and drive sales through a clean and consistent environment.
  • Schedule staff to cover peak times while respecting breaks, meals, payroll accuracy, and the labor budget.
Qualifications Required
  • 3–5 years of retail management experience.
  • Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Excellent listening, communication, analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills; knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet shop needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred
  • Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
  • Proficiency in coaching staff and developing retail career paths.
  • Record of developing retail staff careers.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and adaptable to other systems.
  • Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.

Pay: $53,850 USD – $53,850 USD
