Home Sales Inspector

Overview

As a Home Sales Inspector at Orkin, you will use a highly persuasive pitch to recommend Orkin’s termite protection services to homeowners. You’ll conduct 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solve problems, and build trusted relationships that protect homes and families. Orkin’s award‑winning training provides all the tools you need – no industry experience required.

• Conduct 360 inspections of homes, understanding the customer’s needs and identifying potential pest problems.
• Make strategic recommendations and explain Orkin’s products and services with confidence and care.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with customers in their homes.
• Use company iPad to prepare and submit sales agreements.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and following assigned leads.
• Serve as a problem solver, utilizing training to decide on the best pest solution for each customer.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain the required pesticide license/certification (company paid).
• Independent field work and strong customer interaction skills.

• Use a ladder safely within manufacturer weight limits.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and other areas, including climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and possibly an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
• Work in various weather conditions.
