Overview
We’re hiring a Technician to install commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.

Responsibilities- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and deliver customer satisfaction.
- Acquire knowledge through on‑the‑job training, including new product developments, service bulletins, and issue management.
- Complete necessary documentation (time sheets, customer paperwork) accurately and promptly.
- Read and comprehend plans and blueprints related to the installation of cabling, communication loops, energy‑management and refrigerant‑leak systems.
- Solder copper pipe and install fittings, diagnose water‑leak complaints, install PVC drain pipe, install blower coils, orifice and thermostatic expansion valves, locate refrigeration leaks, fabricate hangers, assign pipe sizes, power wash air‑cooled condensing units, and layout complex coolers.
- Analyze plans, specifications, contract documents, and technical manuals to ensure compliance.
- Maintain truck inventory and adhere to vehicle maintenance guidelines.
- Manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.
- High school diploma or GED plus 10 years of related experience, or equivalent training and education.
- Technical degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience with a high school diploma, or zero years with a technical degree.
- EPA 608 certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Physically able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and out of town as required.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and project‑management skills.
- Ability to make decisions, learn quickly, think rationally, and exercise good judgment.
- Team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
