Aircraft Electronics Technician - Modification | Lockheed Martin
You will be an Aircraft Electrician II, responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and components on C-130J aircraft. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced aircraft electrician to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing As an Aircraft Electrician II, you will be responsible for:
- Installing, clamping, terminating, and testing electrical cables and harnesses on C-130J aircraft
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining C-130J avionic and electrical systems, components, and related equipment
- Removing and installing aircraft components as required, and conducting functional tests of components and systems
- Assisting with aircraft launch and recovery, servicing, rigging, jacking, towing, and inspections
- Reading and interpreting manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair or replacement
- Using and applying hand tools, power tools, machines, work stands, support equipment, and special tools/calibrated test equipment

This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services.

This position is in Crestview, FL. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Desired skills:
Heavy Avionics/Electrical systems modification/integration/repair. Experience on C-130 aircraft. Proficient in the documentation of AFTO 781 forms Active Secret Clearance preferred
