Responsibilities
Okaloosa Youth Academy is a non‑secure, certified juvenile justice residential facility for males located in Crestview, FL. The mission of the Academy is to increase public safety by reducing juvenile delinquency in Florida through effective prevention, intervention and treatment services that strengthen families and turn around the lives of troubled youth. The facility employs dedicated professionals whose goal is to help youth develop competencies valued by the community through therapeutic and educational programming in a secure, structured environment and to promote successful transition into the community.
We are currently seeking Youth Care Worker I (YCW) and Youth Care Worker II associates, full‑time. The YCW functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to adolescent boys aged 13 through 18. The YCW leads therapeutic groups with patients and is able to intervene effectively in crisis situations.

- Previous related working experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass DJJ background screen and pre‑employment drug screen.
