Lutheran Services Florida seeks a Youth Care Specialist III to coordinate and deliver high-quality services for at-risk youth in our Community & Social Services programs. In this advanced role, you'll lead daily care routines, mentor youth, facilitate groups, and support individualized service plans. You will coordinate activities, track outcomes, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with families, schools, and community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care, supervision, and mentoring to youth in program settings
  • Lead and coordinate daily activities, life-skills groups, and therapeutic/recreational programming
  • Implement and monitor individualized service and behavior support plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and incident reports in accordance with policy and regulations
  • Ensure a safe, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive environment
  • Collaborate with families, schools, case managers, and community partners to support youth progress
  • Support crisis prevention and intervention, following agency protocols
  • Assist with program planning, scheduling, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision to enhance service delivery
  • Model LSF values, promoting respect, inclusion, and positive youth development
