Part-Time Music Director Position

Incarnation St. Terrence Parish is seeking a dynamic and faith-driven Part-Time Music Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess professional music credentials, a strong understanding of Roman Catholic Liturgy, and a passion for helping the parish grow in its liturgical worship. This role is pivotal in ensuring the spiritual and musical vibrancy of our parish, as music plays an essential role in our liturgical celebrations.

• Leading music for two weekend Masses (Saturday 5:00 pm & Sunday 11:00 am), including coordination of video display.
• Directing music for Holy Day Masses and Feast Days.
• Preparing with the Cantor prior to each Mass.
• Rehearsing with the Parish Choir and Cantors.
• Being available to lead music for funerals (Monday – Saturday), including coordinating with families for music and readings.
• Coordinating and cooperating with the full-time Music Director to ensure cohesive musical programming.

• Must be able to play both piano and organ.
• Must be able to play and sing simultaneously.
• Proficiency in voice.
• Previous experience in a Catholic Parish and a deep understanding of Catholic Liturgy is preferred.
• A pastoral and dynamic approach to working with the parish community.
