Drive Med Speed’s medical delivery vehicles across the Chicago area. Join a dedicated team that transports vital medical supplies and specimens to healthcare facilities, ensuring and accurate delivery.

• Full‑time:
  Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm‑11:00 pm (one hour after 10 pm earns an additional $1.00 per hour).
• Base rate: $17.25 per hour.

• Drive a company‑owned vehicle, safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to track items accurately through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload equipment from company vehicles.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Complete all assigned routing duties, adapting to changing assignments.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients, demonstrating teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum age 19 with an active driver’s license held for at least 3 years.
• Dependability and reliability.
• Comfortable using technology.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Efficient routing skills across multiple points.
• Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
• Ability to drive a non‑commercial vehicle on varied roads and weather conditions.
• Excellent driving record.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination (as required).
• Regularly able to lift and carry items up to 50 lb.
• Able to handle variable item weights and physical demands.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for extended periods.
