Positions AvailableFull-Time, 2nd Shift Production Positions
. For the person who would like to be hands-on in making custom cabinetry but may not know precisely what position they are looking for, this job posting is for you. After an interview, the production management team will assess your skills and match you with available production positions. Positions could vary from machine operation, building (face frames, drawers, cabinetry), finish (sanding, staining, glazing, booth operators, hand sprayers) to adding accessory items, packaging, and loading trucks.
Helpful Background:
Experience with teamwork, good communication, proven good attendance, and attention to detail.
Preferred Background: Skills with finishing (mixing and applying finishes), product assembly from detailed drawings, carpentry, measurement (linear and metric), and CNC machine operation.
Wages: $19.75 per hour (Base Pay $17.75 + $2.00 Regular Hour Attendance Incentive). After the 60-day training period, pay may include:
Certification Pay and Production Incentive Pay
, with potential for additional Certification Pay as new skills are obtained. Growth opportunities include Technical Pay for skilled positions. Production Incentive Pay is based on production targets and ranges from $0.75 to $3.88 per regular hour. Production incentives are also paid for overtime hours.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM – 2:00 AM (2nd Shift). Fridays may be scheduled according to production needs, with potential 4–8 hours if scheduled on Fridays.
Requirements- On-the-job training for candidates willing to learn with no experience.
- Ability to review products and materials during the manufacturing process.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Follow safety requirements.
- Desire to build quality cabinetry.
- Willingness to listen to and receive instruction.
- Desire to learn and retain information.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Able to remain stationary for long periods.
- Willing to learn wood species, finishes (stains and paints), and cabinet parts for assembly.
- Be able to work effectively and courteously with co-workers.
- Understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing company-provided protective equipment.
- Provide regular and consistent attendance – be on time for the work schedule.
- Contribute to the creation of quality parts as defined by company-provided quality standards.
- Willingly participate in all training.
- Be motivated to achieve production targets and other key performance measures.
