In this role, you’ll build trusted relationships with patients and families, collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team, and help connect individuals to the resources they need from diagnosis through survivorship. Your leadership will streamline treatment pathways, remove barriers, and empower patients with the education and confidence they need at every step.

Key Responsibilities Service Excellence- Participates in tumor boards, research, and task forces.
- Supports updates to policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Serves as first point of contact for newly diagnosed patients.
- Provides assessments, referrals, education, and advocacy.
- Removes barriers to care and supports the physician–patient relationship.
- Documents all encounters in Epic.
- Tracks and analyzes outcomes and productivity data.
- Manages a large patient caseload efficiently.
- Screens for genetic testing and clinical trial eligibility.
- Acts as liaison between patients, providers, and departments.
- Delivers individualized patient education and updates materials annually.
- Supports survivorship planning and connects with community resources.
- Education:
Graduate from an approved school of nursing. - Experience:
2 years related experience. - Licensure: RN (Registered nurse) licensed in state of practice.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days of hire.
- Education:
Bachelor of Science Nursing. - Experience:
3 years in an oncology setting is preferred. - Formal patient education and community educational presentations.
- Support group facilitation.
- Certification:
Certification in Oncology Nursing or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification.
