The Cash Operations Manager oversees daily cash positioning, banking relationships, and account reconciliations that enable timely, accurate, and audit‑ready financial reporting. The role manages general ledger activity (including payroll‑related entries and donor income), supports investment reporting, drives process improvements, and ensures strong documentation and compliance. This position collaborates across Accounting, Partner Services, HR, Compliance, and Advancement to safeguard cash, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision‑making.
As a critical individual contributor, the Cash Operations Manager provides functional leadership for banking operations and cash‑related processes, fostering collaboration and setting direction for continuous improvement without direct supervisory responsibilities.
What you need:- Must have a strong faith walk and agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
- Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred; a minimum of four to seven years of direct accounting, cash management, or financial operations experience.
- High level of professionalism, discretion and sound judgment with strong communication and relationship-building skills across departments.
- Demonstrated background in general ledger processing, bank reconciliations, payroll activity, and audit preparation.
- Skilled in ERP/accounting systems, preferably Business Central, with familiarity in CRM systems related to income/donor activity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and exposure to Power Bi.
- Working knowledge of investment accounting concepts, including fair value adjustments (preferred).
- Experience supporting audits and preparing financial documentation.
- Ability to document processes clearly, support cross-training, and maintain procedural accuracy.
