About the Role
M&M is seeking an experienced Window & Door Repair Specialist to inspect, repair, and install a variety of window and door systems. This role requires strong technical skills, professionalism with customers, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while delivering high-quality results and quality customer service with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and install windows and doors
- Ensure proper installation and operation of window and door systems
- Work directly with manufacturers to order parts and identify solutions
- Accurately document service requests, parts usage, billing, and job completion details
- Manage daily job schedules efficiently and bill jobs by the next workday
- Handle customer interactions professionally and courteously
- Load service vehicle with required tools and materials for each job
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collect payment when required
- Work independently or collaboratively on specialized jobs
- Follow all company SOPs and safety protocols
- Provide Peace of Mind with every customer interaction
- Proven experience with window and door inspection, repair, and installation
- Familiarity with various window and door styles and installation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions from supervisors and team leaders
- Valid driver’s license
- Lead-Safe Certification is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently
- Ability to work at heights and safely use ladders and planks
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Proficient with required tools (e.g., brakes, saws, and other hand/power tools)
- First 30 Days
- Understand company mission, values, and culture
- Learn product lines and service offerings
- Become familiar with SOPs and service processes
- Develop foundational customer interaction skills
- Learn installation and service procedures
- First 60 Days
- Deepen product knowledge and repair solutions
- Develop strong customer service and communication skills
- Learn how to order parts through manufacturers
- Organize and manage windows and materials in the warehouse
- Understand billing processes and callback documentation
- Establish best practices and improve time management
- First 90 Days
- Independently handle window and door callbacks
- Order materials directly through manufacturers
- Follow up on service orders and resolve issues on-site
- Work independently or with a team to complete jobs efficiently
- Manage all billing independently
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to keep jobs moving
- Provide Peace of Mind with every customer interaction
