Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
Our Customer Service Representatives provide excellent customer service and first-level technical support for the Doane University community. We provide technology support and general information assistance via phone, web, and in-person directly to end-users from our service desk located in the Learning Commons.
Position Information
- March 22 - April 3, 2026 - Interviews Take Place
- April 9, 2026 - Notifications Sent
- April 26, 2026 - Mandatory Student Leadership Summit
- Answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner
- Basic connection, printer, and computer troubleshooting/maintenance
- Be willing to learn/try something new
- Check email, create tickets with information, and route to the correct technical team
- Interview customers in regards to their issue/request with directed questions
- Politely respond to the customer’s problem and convey a resolution either by resolving it at first contact or escalating it to the next level of support
- Provide end-user training and support where required
- Unlock AD account/Reset AD password/Walk a customer through the steps
- Use our Ticketing system, Google, and other Doane University software
- Assist with mail services and printing requests
- Attendance is required for the spring Student Leader Summit, April 26, 2026
- Expected to attend ALL training sessions throughout the year
- Active student at Doane University
Total Weekly Hours Required $15.00/hour
